Why Renew?
Prosthodontists need a presence and a voice on the state level that is not available through the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) or other organizations. We are the contact organization of the Florida Dental Association for all issues regarding our specialty.
The FPA has a good relationship with both Prosthodontic Graduate Programs in the state with interaction by members as faculty and during our annual FPA meeting. This is the best way for us to get to know the Prosthodontists of the future.
The FPA has an annual meeting free for members with up to 12 hours of continuing education available. It is an informal meeting where we not only learn, but also share important information about our specialty, practices, and lives. There is a special bond that develops among us where we truly become colleagues that are supportive and willing to help out fellow members.
For the money, joining the FPA is the one of the best values in organized Dentistry. It is one of the puzzle pieces necessary for our specialty to survive and thrive in the future. Also, it is the only organization that exists to help our specialty meet the challenges we face at the state and local level. Your dues payment includes a subscription of the Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry each year.
